THE Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde has declared his unwavering interest in community security by partnering with the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) to beef up local security in the council area.

While speaking during the official commissioning of the NHFSS’ new office at the secretariat recently, Akinsanya acknowledged the role of hunters in assisting other security agents to secure the blackspot within the Igando-Ikotun Local Government Area.240a

He promised the hunters the Local Government’s cooperation to rid Igando-Ikotun of bad elements taking refuge in the hidden places and equally ensure that the society is free for people to go in and come out unhurt, especially businesses in the council area.

Akinsanya noted that security is a collective responsibility and that the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) helps in intelligence and information to help curtail bad elements in society.240b

He said the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) has been in existence for a long time and that most State Governors in Nigeria have been supporting the activities and operations of hunters.
