THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya is set to commission the newly renovated Olukotun Nursery and Primary School and the Ikotun Primary Health Centre, both in the Ikotun area of the LCDA. The information was passed to AlimoshoToday.com recently by a reliable source.
Recall that the Olukotun Nursery and Primary School was in a devastating state during the time the Igando-Ikotun mayor was elected into office during the Lagos State Chairmanship elections in May 2021.
The Olukotun Nursery and Primary School had recently been re-roofed and re-painted and now fit for the community pupils to use.
Akinsanya had once said in a media release that the provision of a conducive environment for learning in all government schools will enhance both the learning and teaching process and had pledged his commitment to revive community education into a laudable standard during his time in office.
In the same vein, the council mayor will also commission the newly reconstructed Ikotun Primary Health Centre that was destroyed during the #ENDSARS campaign of October 2020.
The newly rehabilitated Ikotun PHC has an emergency room, a laboratory, a male ward, a female ward, consulting rooms, a general office, stores, a call room, a family planning room, a disease surveillance room, child welfare room, delivery ward, dental and eye care room, doctors' call rooms, pharmacy, and toilets.
