Igando-Ikotun council boss receives Lagos Assembly Committee for Igando-Ikotun Customary Court inspection.

THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, in the company of other management staff, received the delegation of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA) Committee on Judiciary, Public Petition on an inspection tour of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA Customary Court on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

The delegation was led by the Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary, Public Petition and Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Hon. Victor Akande.

Akande explained that the visitation was in furtherance of the assembly’s oversight function on judicial matters and that the team will be visiting all court complexes across the state to assess the infrastructure and level of compliance with 21-century judicial practice.

Hon. Akande also expressed his satisfaction over the court’s complex, especially its conducive interior. He, however, admitted that there is still room for improvement.

Comrade Akinsanya, on his part, appreciated the delegation for their visit noting that all observations and recommendations will be considered with immediate action.
