Igando-Ikotun boss empowers youths, women with N3.5m

The Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Honourable Morenike Adesina Williams, has empowered women, youths, artisans, groups and farmers in the community with the sum of N3.5 million.

The Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State,  Honourable Morenike Adesina Williams, has empowered  women, youths, artisans, groups and farmers in the community with the sum of N3.5 million.

The empowerment spanned across the 7 Wards within the Igando-Ikotun LCDA.

According to the council boss during the event, “the reason for the empowerment programme is to reduce the rate of unemployment among women and youths."

She also urged the beneficiaries of the empowerment funds to judiciously make use of the cash given to them.
