THE member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor KK), on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, attended the meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, party in the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, where he pledged to deliver more dividends of democracy to his constituents.
In his address, Hon. Ayuba commended the courage and steadfastness of all APC members, appreciating them for their support during the last electioneering period. He assured them that the APC-led Federal Government, headed by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will bring more dividends of democracy to the people through various programmes.
"As a legislator, I will continue to champion the interests of my constituents, advocating for policies and programmes that will benefit the people of Alimosho Federal Constituency,” he stated.
He seized the opportunity to inform the party faithful of his recent empowerment programme for the constituents, which cut across ICT/mobile phone repair training and empowerment, fish farming training and empowerment, distribution of sewing machines and grinding machines, cash grants for the aged, and also installation of modern solarized street lights across the Alimosho Federal Constituency.
He emphasised the need for all leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Local Council Development Area to work in unity for the progress of the party.
His attendance at the gathering served as a reminder of the value of grassroots politics and the need for elected officials to stay connected to the people they represent.
Also in attendance at the meeting was a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alimosho Constituency 02, Hon. Tayo Oduntan; Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comr. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya; Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mrs Mojisola Badmus; APC Igando-Ikotun LCDA Chairman, Alh. Aruna Ikuologun; a former Vice-Chairman of the council, Prince Adewunmi Dada; and other party leaders.
