Akinsanya set to commence renovation of Igando Primary School

THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, is set to commence the reconstruction of dilapidated structures in the Igando Primary School as part of ongoing reforms in the educational sector.

A correspondence signed by the Media Aide to the Chairman, Comrade Akinsanya, the Vice-Chairman who is also the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Mojisola Badmus, alongside the Supervisor for Education, Hon. Obabiyi Isiaka, went on an inspection and assessment tour of the school on Thursday, May 5, 2022, to ascertain the level of damage to the school structures. 1322

Hon. Badmus noted that the renovation work, which will include various levels of repairs and/or overhaul in selected schools, will pave way for a conducive learning environment for primary and secondary school pupils in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA.

“Akinsanya administration will no longer be just about awarding contracts, in fact, we are also focusing on learning outcomes, having a synergy between the learning environment and what is learnt,” she said.

She also added that the Igando Primary School will be renovated with infrastructures such as fences, toilets, roofs, tables, and chairs.1323
