MOTORISTS and commuters were once again stuck in traffic as a broken down containerized truck caused a traffic gridlock at Igando road, inward the Alimosho General Hospital, blocking the entire access road inward the Alimosho General Hospital.
Recall that sometimes ago, a broken-down PSP truck delayed movement on that same stretch of road, causing drivers to drop off passengers who have not reached their destination.

However this time, according to a Facebook post by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), "Traffic has been directed inward Ikotun to reconnect the Expressway by College for those moving inward General Hospital, or continue their journey inward Ikotun."
The response unit of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has been contacted for evacuation while LASTMA officers are on scene to manage the already built-up traffic.
