NIGERIAN music act, Wizkid, during an interview with American entertainment platform, COMPLEX, said that Justin Bieber reached out to him for the remix of "Essence".
The chart-breaking song Essence first featured Tems on the "Made In Lagos" album before a remix featuring Justin Bieber on the "Made In Lagos" Delux edition.
Wizkid during the interview said that it was the American star that reached out to him for the remix and they have also made more music together.
"He reached out to me and he loved the record. He sent the verse and it was just fire,” Wizkid said.
“We linked up and we performed it together. We've got some more music together as well.”
Currently, Wizkid's hit track, Essence, is number 9 on Billboard hot 100 chart.
