Nollywood Actor, Fadeyi Oloro passes on

The announcement of his death came with an exhortation for people to check up on others when they are alive, showing them love.

VETERAN Nollywood actor, Ojo Arowosafe, popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro, died in the late hours of Tuesday, March 7, 2023, after battling a protracted illness.

The actor, who was born on September 15, 1957, and aged 66, was confirmed dead by an actor and comedian, Bayegun Oluwatoyin aka Woli Arole via an Instagram post wherein he said, “So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we played our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to show our support. Rest in Peace the Legend ‘Fadeyi Oloro’.

“Let’s check up on people when dey (they) are alive, let’s show love when people can feel. Let’s help when it can be seen.”

The Ekiti-born actor who rose to prominence in the 80s and late 90s for his trademarked herbalist character attended St Paul Catholic School, Ekiti State, for his elementary education and Timmy Agbale Grammar School for his secondary education.
