"A" list Nigeria artist, Davido, during an interview recounts the way his parents raised him and how humble they were.
Davido's father, Adedeji Adeleke, is a Nigerian billionaire, business magnate, and founder and president of Adeleke University. He is also the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited.
Davido during chat time with popular Black American podcast, EarnYourLeisure, said:
"Even like till date, he (refering to his father) is still very modest about the way he spends and the way he goes about his business, the way he handles his business, it's still amazing to me," he said.
"I remember growing up till I was eleven I wasn't really close to my dad because he was all about work. I remember him coming home late because he was building something. I didn't even know we were rich."
Davido also mentioned in the podcast that he didn't know his parents were rich till he was 13 years old after they moved into a new house.
