DANIEL Gerald, a pupil of Egbeda Primary School, Egbeda, has emerged as the winner in the Spelling Bee Competition hosted today by the Alimosho Local Government.
Daniel Gerald earned for himself the First Position in the competition, while Oyekan Elizabeth of Community Primary School, Shasha, emerged as the Second Position claimant, and Ishola Afolarin of Ebenezer Primary School coming in the Third Position.
The Spelling Bee Competition is an annual academic event hosted by the Jelili Sulaimon led-administration of Alimosho Local Government to promote school pupils interest in the English Language and also to raise consciousness in community school pupils on the rewards that come with academic excellence.
