FOLLOWING the official coronation of the Elegbeda of Egbeda, Prince Jimoh Hammed Orelope Laka, the prince of Isheri Olofin Kingdom, Hon. Idris Balogun aka Oluomo Kafata has felicitated with the king.
In a statement released to the media, he said: "Obas are crowned from Heaven, but the fact still remains that one has to be lucky to be crowned here on earth, and that is why I say congratulations to our newest Oba and I pray that God shall double his wisdom, knowledge and understanding to be able to meet the numerous challenges that are related and which may come up before him in office.
"I thank those that are responsible for this generally-accepted selection of new Elegbeda of Egbeda and all the personalities involved both within and outside Alimosho for the right choice of selection without being partial in their decision.
"On behalf of my father, Onisheri of Isheri-Olofin, Oba Wahab Ayinde Balogun, my wife, children, associates, allies and followers in the struggle for the political liberation of Alimosho Federal Constituency, l pray that the reign of our young, brave, energetic, visionary and cultured Kabiyesi continues to sustain peace, unity and harmony, which is the inheritance of his forefathers and Orelope family in general.
"May Almighty God strengthen, bless, protect and guide our Kabiyesi," he prayed.
