THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA recently hosted the official inauguration of the Local Government and Ward Executives of the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) in Alimosho Local Government.
The occasion, which has in attendance State representatives, including coordinators and women leaders of the group from other LCDAs in Alimosho, was used to announce the aims of the group to the public and to present its representatives to the Executive Chairman in the presence of the members for proper identification.
While speaking during the inauguration, Mr Tunde Adenugba, the Senatorial Coordinator, Ikeja district, reiterated that one of the major assignment ahead of the local government and ward executives of the group is ensuring that the party members and non-party members get their voters' card so that all the efforts of the group and the party, at large, do not go to waste.
Each of the ward coordinators was presented a banner of the group as an official recognition from the state.
Hon. Jelili appreciated the state representatives and the entire members of the group in Alimosho especially the Local Government Coordinator, Alhaji Salahudeen Jimoh (Awikonko) for his relentless efforts.
He then encouraged members to handle the assignment ahead of them with full commitment.
