In the wake of the second wave of COVID-19, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon and his team have appealed to residents of Alimosho Local Government to follow all the Covid-19 guidelines during this Yuletide and beyond.
To make Alimosho free of the virus, Sulaimon said: "It is important to wear face mask in public and maintain the 6-feet physical distance."
He also warned residents to avoid large gatherings.
Supervisor for Health, Hon. Abdulrasheed Abolade said, "the local government will do everything possible to ensure the successes we have recorded are not reversed."
Dr Odufuwa also appealed to Alimosho residents to avail themselves for test if they noticed any COVID-19 symptoms.
"If you are having COVID-19 symptoms, kindly present yourself for testing at Hajj Camp testing centre off Samuel Street, Vulcanizer Bus Stop, Akowonjo, " he advised.
