THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon, has received the newly deployed Commander of 041 Communications Depot, Shasha, popularly known as Shasha Airforce Base, in his office at the council secretariat.
During the meeting with the Commander, Air Commodore A. I Hanidu, and his team, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, the Council Boss welcomed him to the local government, stating that the council is peaceful and free from problems and challenges.
The Commander, on his part, affirmed that their presence has truly been felt by the host community in the area of health, education, security and fire-fighting, among others.
He then added that they need the support of the government, especially in the area of infrastructural development.
Similarly, the Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon, received the newly deployed Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Afonka Police Station in his office at the council secretariat on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
He welcomed her to the community while stating that the government is ready to partner with the Station on issues of security in the council area.
On her part, the new DPO of Afonka Police Station appreciated the Council Chairman for his impact during the period of her deployment.
She particularly appreciated the collaboration and smooth relationship between the local government and the police, stating that she hopes the relationship continues unabated.
