IN preparation for the official commissioning of the new passport office in Alimosho, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), CGI Idris Jere was recently received by the Executive Chairman of the Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon, in his office at the council secretariat.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the visit was used to round up all preparations as regards the commissioning of the new passport office which will take place at a later time.
In his remarks, the CGI appreciated the efforts of the council Mayor for giving the NIS all the support required to get the project done.
The Council Boss, on his part, appreciated the CGI and his team for finding Alimosho worthy of the project and for their cooperation with the council during the course of the work. He also promised to ensure that the project is completed before the due time.
