The wife of the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hajia Kabirat Sulaimon welcomed the first Baby of the Year 2021 on Saturday, January 2 at the Bola Tinubu Primary Health Centre, Akowonjo.
The newborn was delivered at 5:45 am on the 1st of January into the family of Jimoh and Suliat.
In her address, she said: "As we begin a new year, it is time to start executing our plans. Let us make adequate use of our time to improve ourselves and family, community and nation".
The families of the new baby were showered with cash and material gifts from the local government.
Also present at the event was the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Abdulrasheed Abolade and Dr. Odufuwa of Alimosho Local Government, among others.
