THE youth wing of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alimosho Local Government was at the Council Secretariat today to visit the Executive Chairman, Alimosho Local Government, Hon Jelili Sulaimon.
The youth representatives made up of all ward youth leaders and local government executives appreciated God for granting the Executive Chairman a landslide success through their efforts in the last election. They appreciated the Chairman as well for giving them all the needed support to actualise the electoral success.
Hon Uche John, the Youth President, spoke on behalf of the youth wing: "All we have come here to do is to appreciate. To appreciate God and to appreciate our Chairman. Our Chairman is a youth, therefore he understands everything both the said and the unsaid and we do know that with him, there is no cause for alarm."
In his response, Hon Jelili Sulaimon thanked the youth for all their efforts in projecting the party and in ensuring success in the last election.
He added that being a youth, he understands the language and he will do everything to ensure that all demands by the youth are met and all promises fulfilled.
He assured them that some slots has been kept for the youth wings in terms of appointment and engagements, and this he believes will impact meaningfully on them.
