THE Member, Federal House of Representatives for Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Olufemi Bandele Adebanjo (Eyes Open) is currently reconstructing Aishatu Street, Oja bus stop, off Egbeda-Idimu Road, Alimosho LGA.
Reports reaching AlimoshoToday affirm that the road, which has remained completely impassable over the years, is crucial for both human and vehicular movements within the area of the popular Olugbede market.
While commenting on the situation of the road, Hon. Adebanjo stated that the road will be asphalted after the surface dressing, adding that he is hopeful that the road will be completed over the next two months.
The lawmaker also claimed that the completed road will serve as an alternative route to avoid the Egbeda-Iyana Ipaja traffic gridlock.
