In continuation of the 377 Wards Project in Lagos, another ward under the purview of Alimosho Local Government has just commenced the construction of a road and drainage project today on Fagbola Street.
Ongoing project on Fagbola Street
The project is a tripartite effort of the Lagos State Government, Alimosho Local Government and Councillor of Ward A, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf.
Fagbola Street is a 171 by 8 meters road and the drainage will be constructed on both sides of the road. When completed, the road will link Shasha Road and Akowonjo Road. It is expected to reduce the morning traffic snarl usually experienced along Akowonjo Road on a daily basis.
Construction machine and tipper have moved in
Hon. Bolaji Yusuf said: “We appreciate the Lagos State Government and Alimosho Local Government. I want to appeal to the people of Fagbola Street to monitor this project during and after delivery”.
The project is expected to be completed within the next three months.
