NGO partners Egbe-Idimu CDC to help out-of-school girls and women

An NGO based in Egbe-Idimu, Healthy Living and Women Empowerment Initiatives (HELWEI) has concluded plans to partner with the Community Development Council, Egbe-Idimu LCDA to conduct a needs assessment on out-of-school girls and women in Egbe-Idimu.

An NGO based in Egbe-Idimu, Healthy Living and Women Empowerment Initiatives (HELWEI) has concluded plans to partner with the Community Development Council, Egbe-Idimu LCDA to conduct a needs assessment on out-of-school girls and women in Egbe-Idimu.

According to information received by AlimoshoToday.com, the needs assessment on the out-of-school girls and women initiative is one part of the NGO’s education and poverty eradication interventions, which are designed to provide opportunities for young girls and women who are less privileged. 

HELWEI Co-ordinator in Egbe Idimu, Mrs Ebere, said on social media, “As part of our educational and poverty eradication interventions, one of our NGOs, Healthy Living and Women Empowerment Initiatives, in conjunction with the CDC plans to conduct Needs Assessment on out-of-school girls and women within the age of 15 and 45 and make an intervention in this critical area”.

Ebere implored the people of Alimosho to help identify such out-of-school girls and women in the communities and send their details to her on 08037211047. She added that such details can also be sent to Hon Rabiu Kazeem, the CDC chairman on 08033534375), adding that the deadline is Tuesday, 22nd June 2021.
