KSO hosts EILCDA Ndigbo, seeks massive support for 2023 general elections.

“We all have a responsibility to continue to ensure that our community continues to remain politically stable for all of us so that we can continue to enjoy the peace that we are all experiencing. All the things we are doing are natural for us to do because God has created us to make life better for our fellow human beings,” KSO stated.

THE Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) has urged the Igbo Community of the council area to continuously ensure that the Egbe-Idimu LCDA remains politically stable for continuous peace, which they currently enjoy.

Reports reaching Alimoshotoday through the Media Aide to the Chairman, Comrade Olakunle Oyejobi, on Thursday, September 8, 2022, reiterates that KSO made this appeal during his meeting with the executives of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo of Egbe Idimu LCDA led by Chief Chidi Benson.

The council helmsman in his address averred that the 2023 general elections in Nigeria should be about who has the best interest of the nation at heart.

According to him, it should be a person, who over the years has created opportunities without consideration for tribal interests and who has given a genuine platform for people to thrive, live, and work well.

“There is no part of this LCDA that one form of development is not happening, we will continue to push development in every nook and cranny of the LCDA, and we spent so much on security to keep all of us safe on a daily basis. So, if people now come and want to divide us, we shouldn’t let that happen.

All the things we are doing are natural for us to do because God has created us to make life better for our fellow human beings,” KSO stated.

The leader of the delegation, Chief Chidi Benson, in his response, assured the gathering that the Igbo community in the council area would work for the victory of Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu in next year’s elections, noting that anything outside APC is wasted votes.

The gathering also appreciated the Chairman's support for the Igbo people and also for appointing one of them as the SSA, Inter-Ethnic Affairs, Ambassador Emmanuel Okoroigbo.

In attendance were the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mutiu Adebiyi and the Leader of the House, Hon. Rufai Abidemi.
