2023 Children Day: “Caring for children has been my priority”- Egbetokun

AS people across the world celebrated Children's Day on Saturday, May 27, 2023, Hon. Adesina Egbetokun, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) party in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, has called on parents across the globe to protect their children against domestic and sexual violence, noting that, caring for the children has been his top priority in his humanitarian services and political ideology.

The business mogul cum politician stated this in a Press release through his media office and made it available to Journalists in Lagos.3978

In his words: “We as parents must show responsibility and serious commitment to the growth and development of our children and ensure that our children are free from all forms of domestic and sexual harassment.”

Egbetokun, who usually organizes an annual New Year Children's party at his residence in Idimu, Alimosho, said the rate of child abuse is alarming and it should be of serious concern for parents, adding that the government can only provide an enabling environment for the children growth and development, noting that, caring for the children and protection against any forms of molestations are majorly parental responsibilities.
