THE remake of popular Nollywood movie, Aki and pawpaw, played by Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme will be coming to cinemas in December.
Play Network Studio has announced a new collaboration with FilmOne Entertainment on the production of the remake of 2003 hit Nollywood comedy franchise 'Aki na 'Ukwa.
According to a report, the movie will be directed by Biodun Stephen, while Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme will reprise their roles as Aki and Pawpaw from the original film.
Other actors includes Toyin Abraham, Anita Asuoha (Real Warri Pikin), Uti Nwachukwu, Stan Nze, MC Lively, Beverly Osu, Juliet Ibrahim and Chioma Okafor.
The movie which was then directed by Amayo Uzo Philips and that brought Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme to stardom in 2003 would have its remake released on the 17th of December 2021.
