Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, recently commissioned an ultra-modern maternal and child care centre in Epe area of Lagos State.
The said Epe Maternal and Child Centre has been described by witnesses as being of world standard and fit enough to compete on a global level as it has all the essential equipment and facilities to provide adequate care during child labour.
Also, a matron, one Mrs Patricia Nwoye residing in Alimosho and who works in a private hospital in the Egbe-Idimu area of Lagos has described the Epe Maternal and Child Centre as impressive.
Squeezing a minute out of her time to attend to alimoshotoday.com on Saturday, June 19, 2021, Nwoye said, while looking at the pictures, "I am hearing about it for the first time. This is impressive, very impressive".
She then added, "But the Governor should come and do it for us in Egbe-Idimu, or just one that we can call our own here too in Alimosho.
"But he has tried. He has really tried. We women should be happy about it. It is good to know the Governor cares for us and our babies".
