Lagos traffic radio announces temporary shutdown of transmission

THE management of the Lagos Traffic Radio, 96.1FM, has announced a temporary shutdown of transmission between 12 am on Thursday, July 29 and 4 pm on Friday, July 30, 2021, to allow its team of Engineers to carry out routine maintenance of its equipment in a bid to improve service delivery.

The station’s General Manager, Mr Tayo Akanle stated that the importance of the station’s traffic monitoring broadcast to the motoring public in the State cannot be overlooked, he, therefore, regrets any inconvenience caused by the temporary shutdown.

The General Manager, however, promised continuous improvement in the station’s services of disseminating effective travel advisory and traffic updates to its listeners across the State.
