Saka explains choice of England over Nigeria

Arsenal youngster, Bukayo Saka, has confirmed his international future to be with England.

The Arsenal leftwing/ left-back scored his first goal of the Premier League season against Sheffield United in a 2-1. He was included in the England squad to face Wales, Belgium and Denmark, as well as fellow Arsenal teammate, Ainsley Maitland Niles.

On his decision to play for England, he said: "I feel like I’m really, really proud of my Nigerian heritage. I always still watch Nigeria’s games where I can and I wish them all the best and support them all the way.

“But I’ve seen the process of how England is transforming and I think in the future they’re going to do great stuff. I feel like it was right for me to choose England.”

Saka's dad was born in England while his mum was born in Nigeria.
