Chelsea desperate to have Rudiger sign a new deal.

The Germany international became a huge part of Thomas Tuchel's plans for the club as he helped the club secure the Champions League trophy and the Super Cup trophy last season.

Rudiger, whose contract expires in 2022, has been offered a new contract by Chelsea which could see him earn £140,000 per week which he refused as he seems to want a more improved offer of over £200,000.

European big clubs, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Juventus are all ready to make a move for the defender who currently earns £100,000 per week.

Chelsea will have to give him a more improved offer if the club intends to keep the defender who missed out on the UEFA Champions League defender of the season nomination.
