Earlier today, a post had been disseminated on social media that three local government council chairmen have been suspended by the Lagos State House of Assembly over alleged disregard for the guidelines governing their activities.
The affected chairmen were named as Hon. Ogidan Mukandasi Olaitan of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Sulaiman Jelili of Alimosho LGA and Hon. Tajudeen Ajide of Surulere LGA.
In response to the above, the SA Media to the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LG, Ayinde Jamiu said that: "The attention of the Leadership of Alimosho Local Government has been drawn to an unfathomable rumour about the impeachment of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon.
"The leadership hereby unequivocally assured the public that is merely a false information and an attempt by enemies of democracy to cause commotion in the Local Government. The Local Government is peaceful and both the legislative and executive are currently working together to bring success to her people.
"The public is hereby advised to see the story as another false news flying around to benefit some unknown evil characters", he concluded.
