Alimosho Council boss welcomes parents, school children back to school

HON. Jelili Sulaimon, Chairman, Alimosho LGA has joined the 'resumption greetings sailing boat' as he sent a well-wishing message to parents and school pupils and students in Alimosho.

Schools across Lagos State resumed today, Monday, September 13, 2021.

The Council boss said in an official statement made public today through social media, "On behalf of the entire good people of Alimosho, I welcome all our children back to school after the long vacation.

"Education has been defined as the best legacy and this has been confirmed by the number of resourceful chaps who have impacted our society in science, technology and so on. This would have been impossible if education is not taking seriously in Alimosho.

He added, "As the government, we have not taken education with levity, and this is clearly reflected in our efforts by promoting impact-driven education through the provision of skill-drilling centres in all primary schools. Our plan is to intensify at this and we shall do just that.

"Once more, I welcome all Alimosho children back to school and wish them a stress-free 2021/22 academic session.

He concluded by imploring the school children and the Alimosho public at large to remember to obey all Covid-19 rules and stay safe.
