Kehinde Joseph mourns Onidimu of Idimu, describes late monarch's reign as peaceful

THE returning member, Alimosho Constituency ll at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Kehinde Joseph, has commiserated with the royal family and the people of the Idimu Kingdom over the transition of their monarch, Oba Azeez Adewale Olayeni Dada Aluko, whose reign he described as a peaceful one.

Late Oba Azeez Adewale Olayeni Dada Aluko was, until his transition, the Olugoke II, Onidimu of Idimu Kingdom.

In his condolence message, Kehinde Joseph described the people of the kingdom as enterprising and fearless, saying the transition of the King is not just a great loss to the kingdom but to the state and country at large.

According to him, "He has led the people well and ensured peace, harmony, and progress for his people. He's no longer with us, but he stood for truth, fairness, peace, and progress."

Joseph, however, said that the contributions of the late monarch to drama, culture, and community development would be missed by all.

Idimu 

"Oba Azeez Adewale Olayeni Dada Aluko will be fondly missed because he's a bridge builder who got across ethnic, religious, and cultural divides to promote peace and unity, not only in his jurisdictions but the state at large."

The state lawmaker, on behalf of his family and the good people of Alimosho Constituency II, further extended condolences to the entire royal family in Idimu.
