ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU CIVIC CENTRE, IFAKO-IJAIYE

THE outgoing chairman of the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, who built the centre said; “This edifice,  christened ‘Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Monumental Civic Centre,’ is named in recognition of unparalleled contributions of my guide, my guardian and my mentor, the National Leader of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  to the advancement of democracy and grassroots administration and development, not only in Lagos State,  but also in Nigeria in general.”

Apostle Oke explained that the building will solve the acute accommodation problems that had confronted the local government since its inception over thirty years ago. The centre features two big event halls, an e-library, an ICT centre, and a youth office.

The ceremony was witnessed by politicians, government officials, market women and youth.
