A non-governmental organisation, Project Alert on Violence Against Woman (VAW), has held a 2-day refresher training for community Surveillance team members on Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV) response.

The programme was held on Monday, 8th of March and Tuesday, 9th of March at Ikeja.

Recall that AlimoshoToday had reported that Project Alert selected a six-woman and six-man community surveillance team to serve as a watchdog in their communities for cases of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) across the 9 local governments (Alimosho, Agege, Oshodi/Isolo, Kosofe, Surulere, Lagos Island, Ikorodu, Yaba and Ikeja) during a capacity building programme for CSOs and Right Groups on SGBV Referral Services in each of these local government under the Spotlight Initiative Project (SIP).
