OKUN Alimosho, a non-profit organisation domiciled in Alimosho has unveiled plans for the 2022 edition of the annual Alimosho Carol Concert.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the Alimosho Carol Concert, scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Lagos Igando Theatre, by 3 pm, is an initiative put together to converge communities in the Alimosho LGA in a special thanksgiving to God for the year in anticipation of a more blissful new year.
The main essence is to encourage the culture of excellence, present an award of excellence to nominated choirs, and foster religious tolerance amongst community members.
A special feature of this event is the presentation of awards to several choirs and music groups in Alimosho who are thriving and protecting the culture of excellence in the community.
During the first edition of the concert in 2017, Okun Alimosho identified and awarded 40 music groups and choirs in the Alimosho community who are thriving and protecting the culture of excellent music. This year, Okun Alimosho is set to make it grander as this event will be having the presence of dignitaries in the community including pastors, church leaders from CAN, PFN, Imams, Kings, and government officials in the community.
