THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon has urged the residents of Alimosho to keep calm in the face of failure while seeking out other solutions to combat the problem.
In a note of encouragement penned by the council mayor on Monday, March 21, 2022, he said; “I have seen many people who have considered themselves as a failure simply because they made a single attempt that didn't yield the expected result.
“They didn't realise that those that are being celebrated today passed through worst situations before getting to the enviable position they presently occupy.
“No one can be termed a failure except one who does not believe in what he is doing because that failed attempt is an additional knowledge you have gained ahead of those who got successful at their first try.”
He also added that; “Thomas Edison, the inventor of the electric bulb, said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work,” after a 1000 try.
“Stand up to your failure and turn it into success as you start this new week.”
“May God crown your efforts with success.”
Hon. Jelili has also wished the constituents a prosperous new week devoid of unbearable challenges.
