HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, Sarki overall of Alimosho and Chairman of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community in Alimosho Local Government has congratulated HRM Oba Omogbolahan Abdul-Wasiu Lawal, the Oniru of Iru land, on the occasion of his official coronation that held on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
The Sarki said that Iru kingdom and Lagos have just affirmed a massive addition, maintaining that his royal majesty, Oba Gbolahan signposts a greater Iru heritage and an even greater good news for the greater Lagos project.
He said a careful run-through of the Oba’s profile in service to the Centre of Excellence and Humanity, unquestionably affirmed his position, as he has had an illustrious recent past and his ascension to the throne represented a win-win for the kingdom and indeed Lagos State.
"The assembly of Sarkis and the entire membership, under the aegis of the chieftaincy council of Arewa community Alimosho Local Government, which I steer, is proud to identify with, celebrate and congratulate your Majesty on this special moment in history; a new vista has just taken full root and we can only bid our time to begin to harvest the goods having made the right choice and decision," the Sarki concluded.
