THE General Manager of Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince (Dr) Ifalade Oyekan has charged newly decorated rank officers to embrace hard work, adding that the new ranks come with the challenge to work harder towards enhanced service delivery and security for all residents of Lagos State.

Prince Oyekan advised on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the safety Arena Complex, Bolade Oshodi during the decoration ceremony of 11 newly promoted officers with their new ranks, imploring the officers to live by example and be role models to their junior colleagues.

He added that the new rank comes with respect and additional responsibility, particularly from members of the public, provided the officers do what is expected of them in the community they are serving.

Oyekan further advised them to carry out their responsibilities diligently and within the ambit of the law, urging the officers to always display a high level of professionalism and competence as first responders in most emergency cases before the arrival of others.

While urging the officers to maximise the opportunity inherent in their new ranks, the General Manager added that the promotion received will not only enhance their professional careers but also embolden them to secure the community, gather useful information for the Police, and bridge the gap of trust between law enforcement agencies and the public.

He also acknowledged the commitment of the State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu to the welfare and improved performance of officers of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency officers.
