LCDA Chairmam initiates public boreholes project in Okerube-Abaranje

EXECUTIVE Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams, has embarked on the construction of boreholes in Okerube Market.

Williams said: “Health is wealth. Hence, the provision of drinkable water will lead to healthy living and this will prevent outbreak of diseases in the council.”

It was reported that her administration has been able to provide drinkable water boreholes at Okerube- Abaranje community, with the promise to extend same to other areas which are in dire need of drinkable water.

The Council Chairman appreciated the people of the area for their unalloyed support and cooperation since she assumed office, urging them to continue their support as this will guarantee continued developmental projects.

She then enjoined the people to always perform their civic responsibilities by paying their taxes and other levies to government in order to execute more projects.
