Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture commences 4-week training

THE Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture has commenced a four-week agricultural training at its  Farm Service Centre, at Abattoir, Oko-Oba, Agege.

The training is said to be targeted at youth, retirees, entrepreneurs, unemployed graduates, and school leavers. 

As noted, the areas of training in the agricultural value chains include the rearing of poultry, crops, pig, fish, cattle, sheep and goat, snail, rabbit and grasscutter. 

A reliable source also confirmed that the training comes with benefits such as linkages to relevant agricultural agencies such as Bank of Agriculture (BOA) for Micro & Macro Credit Loan Facilities, Inputs Supplies, Cooperatives Groups, Coconut Development, Agricultural Services, Agribusiness and others.
