On Sunday, the third year Broadcast student of the Lagos State University School of Communication said her experiences awakened the urge to impact young girls to do well, rise above their limitations and rewrite their stories.

MorebyMoradela is a non-governmental organisation focused on improving identity, developing talents and potentials, contributing to the realisation of dreams and aspirations, and educating the female gender irrespective of their race, background, colour and status.

Speaking with AlimoshoToday on her talents, Morenike disclosed she is a screenwriter, content creator, podcaster, actor, emerging director and movie producer. In fact, a feature movie titled "KIISHI" marked her debut as an actor.

Amidst the disturbing statistics that Alimosho is a porous environment to raise the female child due to the rate of sexual violence, the multitalented student confessed that Alimosho has impacted positively in her daily lives. And she wishes to give back to the society very soon.

"I am a female child. I have a history. I have been both a victim and a victor of the society. Regardless, Alimosho is one of the best places in Lagos to train any child, boy or girl.

"We are looking at commemorating World Menstrual Hygiene Day by distributing Sanitary pads to girls in secondary school children in Alimosho and to also educate people on Menstrual hygiene”, she added.

However, she pleaded and asked the entire community of Alimosho to support in any way to achieve the project at hand.

On a final note, Morenike advised the girl-child not to allow their feature limit their future, "Own your power and use it. Beyond what your past painted about you, what your present shows of you or what your future look like, there's more to you. Don't give up, ever. Comparison is the fastest killer of dream. Run at your own pace and recognise timing", she concluded.
