Functional solar street lights now available in some areas, Senator Yayi announces

THE solar-lights for streets promised by Senator Solomon Olamilekan, (YAYI) have been delivered, fitted and now functional in some areas, according to the Senator's recent update.

SOLAR-lights promised for streets in Alimosho Local Government by Senator Solomon Olamilekan (YAYI) have been delivered, fitted and now functional in some areas, according to the Senator's recent update.

Yayi, the Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, made this known in the early hours of the weekend.

Referring to his campaign manifestos, he said promises made are now being kept as some areas in Alimosho LGA  have begun to harvest the fruits of democracy, as those areas have now been lighted up.

The Senator highlighted the instrumentality of the Light Up Project which he said would add beauty to the Lagos territories.

It would also tighten up security measures in the areas to reduce crime rates, apart from providing convenience for residents and road users.

Senator Adeola specified that the Lagos State University (LASU) Road and Bakare Estate have been successfully lit up.

Alimosho Today had previously reported the delivery of 130 poles delivered by the Senator.
