Avila launches education support for indigent students in Alimosho

IN furtherance of her people-oriented programmes geared towards improving the lives of the average person in Alimosho, Avila Naturalle, a foremost skincare and fashion brand domiciled in the Alimosho LGA, has introduced the Avila Naturalle Education Support Project (ANESP).

Avila Naturalle Education Support Project (ANESP) is a continuous education sponsorship program for school pupils and students across Alimosho and beyond who exhibit meritorious academic promise, but unfortunately, their parents are unable to fund their education.

The scholarship initiative is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and will run throughout the child's stay in school as long as the beneficiaries will continue to improve on their academic performance.

According to Dupe Akinola, Publisher of AlimoshoToday.com, and the Project Coordinator of the education support project on behalf of Avila Naturalle, the scholarship will cover the cost of school fees and books only.

He also said, "The students will be shortlisted based on their academic performance. Though final approval is subject to Avila Naturalle's decision, pre-approval is dependent on the schools' leadership's approval of the pupils".

Avila Naturalle has over the years sponsored various community youth projects in Alimosho, including the sustained sponsorship of the annual Alimosho Tomorrow Leaders Conference.
