BRT buses have resumed operations in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State again.
Recall that BRT operators had suspended operations following the razing down of some of their terminals and buses by hoodlums who hijacked the #ENDSARS protests that happened recently.
A few days ago, the Head of Corporate Communications of the organisation, Mr Mutiu Yekeen, had revealed that the organisation is still quantifying the losses incurred by the two-week suspension of operations, occasioned by the violence that trailed the recent #EndSARS protests across the country.
He said: “Like every other company that has been affected by these crises, we are still trying to quantify our losses as an organisation.
“We have not been able to operate for 14 days, and this has affected our business negatively. As an organisation, we are currently quantifying our losses.”
When AlimoshoToday went to the boarding point at Egbeda, Ayobo, Abesan and Ayoola Bus-Stops today, BRT buses were seen operating.
While the BRT buses at Egbeda were plying Egbeda to Oshodi, the buses at Ayoola and Ayobo were conveying passengers to Ikeja.
