MR Dupe Akinola, the Publisher of the online news website – Alimoshotoday.com has received a Special Recognition Award from D’Gathering of Creatives, a body of creative artists using their work to impact society in Alimosho LGA and beyond.
The award was presented on Saturday, September 17, 2022, during the fourth edition of the D'Gathering, tagged 'Beyond the Norm' held at the Lagos Theatre, Igando.
Speaking, while presenting the award on behalf of his organisation, Convener of D’Gathering, Oluwaseun Adeojo appreciated Mr Akinola for his support to the group, right from its founding days, when very few people saw its potential.
He also recalled how the group enjoyed media coverage from Alimoshotoday in the year 2020 at a time when they needed publicity.
The MD/CEO of Sacorah Global Limited who was represented by the Managing Editor, Alimoshotoday, Ayomide Eweje thanked the organiser of the event for recognising his efforts in youth development through the media while promising to do more for society.
Alimoshotoday.com is an online news website for the Alimosho community, giving daily happenings across the six LCDAs in the council area, and projecting Alimosho to the worldwide reading audience.
