Alimosho residents have finally decided to join concerned youths in Lagos for the three-day protest against the alleged brutality and extra-judicial killings by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force.

In the early hours of Thursday, there had been a clarion call on social media for a protest in Alimosho, scheduled to start from Ikotun and directed towards the Alimosho Local Government Secretariat at Egbeda-Akowonjo. However, there seemed to be a change in plan as the protest didn't hold as planned.

On the social media platform monitored by AlimoshoToday, the scheduled protest is gaining popularity and a platform has been created for interested persons.

The rendezvous for the #EndSars protest in Alimosho is Gate Bus-Stop, by Forte Oil, Mosan-Okunola, Alimosho. The protesters intend to meet with the Area Commander of Area P Command Headquarters, Abesan.

The protest is part of the push for the reform of the police system to put an end to the extra-judicial activities of the law enforcement agency.
