Aboyade solicits CDC support for Lagos West APC

IN his efforts to reposition the party towards the 2023 elections, All Progressives Congress, APC Vice Chairman, Lagos West Senatorial District, Chief Tunde Aboyade has solicited the support of Alimosho Community Development Committee (CDC).

While addressing  CDC executives in Alimosho during a meeting held at Akowonjo, Egbeda Lagos yesterday, Aboyade noted that the CDC and Community Development Associations (CDAs) are important components of the society.

The Lagos APC Chieftain submitted that the contributions of CDC to the success of the party in Lagos cannot be quantification, adding that " I have discovered overtime that your  (CDC) support is very crucial to the success of APC in Lagos."
Aboyade who is also a CDC patron in Alimosho enjoined the community body to use its influence and powers to support the presidential ambition of APC National Leader, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He also appreciated the CDC for its efforts at enlightening and educating members of the community on the ongoing Continuous Voters' Registration (CVR) exercise.

The Lagos West APC Vice Chairman advised the CDC executives to liaise with their respective LG/LCDA Chairmen to fast track the development of their respective communities.He stressed that as a way of ensuring unity in the APC, he has commenced reconciliatory moves to persuade aggrieved members.

Aboyade further called on the CDC executives not to hesitate in sharing ideas that can make the APC stronger. "As the chairman of APC in Lagos West, I cannot do it one, I am opened to ideas", he said during the gathering.
