The Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Honourable David Famuyiwa, in his Christmas message to the residents, admonished Christians in Agbado/Oke-Odo and Lagos State to celebrate with utmost care and caution, even as the nation and the world at large battle to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus.

In his remarks, he acknowledged the fact that Christmas celebration at a time like this can be demanding.

"Celebrating Christmas amidst the ravaging pandemic can be quite daunting," he said.

He, therefore, appealed to all not to throw caution to the wind as COVID-19 is still with us. He charged everyone to partake in flattening the curve by strictly adhering to government's safety protocols and guidelines even as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

He further encouraged Christians within the community to imbibe the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ in humility, sacrifice and selflessness as we go about celebrating.

He concluded by enjoining all to be grateful to God for the gift of life and also prayed for God's guidance, protection and preservation upon all as he wishes everyone a merry Christmas and a healthy New Year.
