AN aspirant for the Alimosho House of Assembly seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Adetunji Muideen Adebowale has seeked the supoort and votes of the APC delegates ahead of primary elections in Alimosho.
Adebowale in his support note, dated Monday, May 23, 2022, wrote; "Dear APC Alimosho Constituency 01 leaders and delegates, I most sincerely and humbly appeal for your support because I am in for this political race not for fame, but my passion has been to add value to the lives of our people through effective legislative representation through consistent feedback mechanism.
"My beloved leaders and delegates, I'm not desperate for this position and I'm not over-ambitious about it as your son who has learnt enough from you all since l embarked on this political journey.
"Though, I received political tutuleage from my father, late Alhaji Raheem Adetunji (Former Baba Oja of Katangowa market) who many of you know as a progressive politician from the era of Zero party through AD, AC, ACN and now APC, but it has been a wonderful and an added political experience knowing and working with you all.
"But I have the zeal, the training, the passion, the readiness, the commitment and the dedication to doing whatever I can to ensure Alimosho constituency 01 rise during my years in government as a state legislator if given the ticket of our great party to run and emerge at the election proper.
"Beloved APC leaders and delegates of Alimosho constituency 01, I'm not contesting just to win the primary election or even the general election; I'm driven by my determination and vision to leverage on what our sitting representative have done so far and improve on his outstanding performance through impactful and people-driven legislative acumen.
"I have the plan to organize sustainable youth and women empowerment on quarterly basis for my people aside sponsoring impactful and developmental bills as stated in my manifestos.
"For these aforementioned reasons and the greater Alimosho constituency 01, I beg for your support and I will never fail you."
It should be noted that Hon. Adetunji Muideen Adebowale is from the Ward F in the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.
