AFTER a thorough and critical analysis of the budget proposal that was earlier presented to the Legislative Arm of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA and the subsequent presentation of the same for assent, the Executive Chairman of the council area, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, signed the Year 2023 Budget of #2,657,013,947.01 (Two Billion, Six Hundred and Fifty-Seven Million, Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Forty-Seven Naira only) into law for the benefit of the people of the council area.
In his remarks, the council Boss commended the Legislative Arm, led by Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi, for their swift and thorough appraisal of the budget.
He also appreciated the council cabinet, led by the Secretary to the Local Government, Chief Akinwumi James Odeyemi and the Management team headed by the Council-Manager, Mr Olugbenga Shogbanmu for their support and contributions in making the budget a reality.
Famuyiwa then concluded by assuring the residents of the council area of his administration's commitment to greater infrastructural development in the year 2023 while praying for a peaceful and successful 2023 for everyone.
Present at the occasion were the legislators and executive members of the Council, including the Clerk of the House, Mr Sotubo and the representatives of the budget department.
