Famuyiwa inspects ongoing council projects in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA

The Council Chairman reiterated his administration's commitment to the provision and improvement of infrastructural facilities in the council area for a better Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.

THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa and his team went on an inspection tour of some of the ongoing council projects on Thursday, June 16, 2022, shortly after the Council Executives Meeting.

According to information reaching AlimoshoToday, while on the inspection tour, the Council Boss stated that due to the level of construction work being executed, it is imperative to ensure a clean and healthy environment in the council area.

He also appealed to the community members to own the projects and cooperate with men on-site in a bid to provide a more befitting community that can be proud of.

The Council Mayor also expressed satisfaction at the pace of work being done by the various contracting firms while encouraging them to hasten up before the heavy rains start.1513

Rounding off the tour, the Council Chairman reiterated his administration's commitment to the provision and improvement of infrastructural facilities in the council area for a better Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA. 

The inspected projects include; Construction of Arogundade Road/Quadri Street, Aboru; drainage and fencing of Ilapo Community Nursery and Primary School, Alagbado; rehabilitation of Ibari/Old Otta Road; and the construction of Meiran Primary Health Centre, facilitated by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola  (YAYI), Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District.

With the Council Chairman on the inspection tour were the Vice-Chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Ajoke Moromoke Aminat Obe, Council-Manager, Mr Olugbenga Shogbanmu, Council Treasurer, Mr Luqman Ajibola, and Secretary to the Local Government, Chief Akinwumi Odeyemi and all the Supervisors.

Others are; Chief of Staff, Hon. Aderemi Adeyemo, Council Engineer, QS Olatunde Adesanya, some of the recently inaugurated Senior Special Assistants and some staff of the Works Department. 1514
